HERE ARE SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE ADD

In this article, I will try to give you a guick overview of what it's like when you have an ADD. Remember that there are three different types and some sub-types. I am listing the most common struggles and symptoms of all the ADDs.

Many people struggle with some of these issues for a period of time in their lives. When you have an ADD, you struggle with many of these issues throughout your life to the point of impairment.

It seems like you can't get your life in order. No matter how hard you try to meet all the demands of your life, no matter how well intentioned or how good hearted you are, you fall short in certain areas and it costs you. It can cost you your family, your job, your integrity, your self-respect, your friends, your home, your financial well being, your time, etc.

You may struggle with:
- addictions
- mood swings
- speeding tickets
- problems with finances
- relationship issues
- job stability

Common symptoms include:
- very impulsive
- easily distracted
- forgetful
- disorganized
- difficulty getting started
- difficulty finishing tasks or projects
- often daydreaming / tuning out
- feelings of insecurity
- can focus for hours on something you love to the point where you can't stop
- need time alone daily to calm your mind
- get bored easily / you need to have something to do all of the time
- need a lot of structure and organization to function successfully
- racy mind / always thinking
- sleep problems

If you are experiencing some or many of these struggles and symptoms, I hope that knowing you have an ADD eases your mind. It did for me. There are many different ways to help you put your life in order. You are not a screw up. You are not lazy. You are not a scatter brain. You just have to learn to deal with your imperfections.
If you need more info or just a place to vent, feel free to write me. I care.

I will soon have a more indepth article which will address each of the symptoms and give examples from my life.
For now, hang in there and pray. It really works. God always accepts us as we are. No one else can love and accept us the way God does. He doesn't make junk; He doesn't make mistakes; Once he forgives you He never remembers your mistakes. Can't find a human being like that anywhere.

Have a funny day,
Diane
